The coordinates provided are for the front entrance of the Ohio Historical Center. The bell is located on the ground floor in the northwestern portion of the building.

This bell is from the USS Ohio, a Maine-class pre-Dreadnought battleship. Construction was started in 1899, and it was launched on May 18, 1901. The ship sailed the world until it was decommissioned on May 31, 1922. The bell and silver service were placed on loan with the Ohio Historical Society for public viewing in 1924.
