Columbus Crew Stadium is the home of the Columbus Crew soccer team. It was the first stadium built specifically for soccer in the U.S. Located near the Ohio State Fairgrounds, north of downtown Columbus, Ohio.

Columbus Crew Stadium opened May 15, 1999 with a sold-out crowd of 24,741. That day the Columbus Crew took the field against the New England Revolution. This stadium was the first one to be built specifically for soccer in the United States.
The stadium also hosts other events, such as football, concerts, lacrosse, and other soccer matches.
The full field measures 404.5 feet by 252 feet and the soccer field itself is 345 feet x 225 feet. During soccer matches there is a seating capacity, of 23,425, which is expanded to 30,000 for concerts. The plaza out front features an 84 foot diameter concrete soccer ball engraved in the walkway, which can easily be seen in aerial photos.
