Old Colony Burying Ground was established in 1805 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Although some reports put the number of burials at 2,000, only 928 stones were legible in an 1886 reading. Several founders and early settlers of Granville are buried here. Also, there are numerous Revolutionary War and War of 1812 veterans, with a handful of Civil War veterans.

The 1886 reading can be found at (visit link)
