The old picture is from a Postcard I own, the Postcard is not dated but I believe it is from around the late 50's. The old Aber swing bridge was opened on St. David's Day 1900 (1st March). The old bridge lasted until 1969 when it was replaced in 1970 with the new swing bridge.

I took the modern picture on the 14th Sept 2007, I tried to get as close to the spot where the old photograph was taken.
