Located on the town square this time capsule shares its space with a monument to honor Confederate dead from the Civil War. The capsule was placed by the city of Lebanon, TN to commemorate the 175th anniversary of the founding of their city. It was placed here on July 28, 1994 and will be opened in 2019 during Lebanon's bicentennial celebration.
