Minnesota Landscape Arboretum Garden Maze - Outdoor Mazes on Waymarking.com

Please note that there is an admission charge to gain entry to the arboretum. Once you arrive, you may park at the visitor's center and follow the "Art to Amaze" trail on foot to find the entrance to this maze, or by car you can follow the signs for the "Three Mile Drive" until you reach a parking area near the coordinates.

This is an outdoor garden maze located within the grounds of the state landscape arboretum in Chanhassen, Minnesota. The maze has been constructed using a variety of hedgerows and shrubs, as well as having tunnels to climb through and garden gates to pass by on your journey. There is a longer, more difficult maze for those who like a challenge, as well as a shorter and simpler maze for young explorers; both can be done together as a "maze within a maze."

To log this waymark, you must answer the following question and submit your answers: The maze has several educational sign posts along its trails. Find your way to the red tunnel in the junior section of the maze (if you need help, trying climbing up the overlook tower within the maze until you site it, then work your way to it from there.) Look for a sign about dogwoods close nearby. At the dogwood signpost, what do you learn that might be of interest to pirates? And how does the tunnel closest to this signpost relate to this type of dogwood ?

Just past the intersection with Highway 41, turn left into the Arboretum at the signposted gates.
