Jacobus Park is 25.53 acre park part of the Milwaukee County Park System. The park entrance is on the west side of the park closest to the pavilion and pond. The playground is located at the east end of the park and is best to park along the Menomonee River Parkway unless you would like to enjoy a short walk on one of the wooded nature trails. The playground has two seperate play structures, one designed for children ages 2-5 and another for older children. There is a blue/cream colored rubber mat beneath the play equipment, nice for when the weather was wet the night before. The playground has slides, swings, infant swings, and sandbox. A wading pool is open during the summer months. Restrooms are open during wading pool hours.
