Not much information can be found on the Eagle Bay Railroad Station. It was built around 1898 and was a station on the Raquette Lake Railway. The rail line was an 18 mile long spur that went from the New York Central station in Carter (formerly known as Clearwater) up to Raquette Lake, paralleling Rt 28. Eagle Bay was one of six flag stations along the line. Trains ran here from 1900-1933. The tracks were removed in 1934 and is now a rails-to-trails in some places.

The station is currently vacant and for sale.
