McCauley Mountain Chair Lift - Old Forge, NY - Aerial Lifts on Waymarking.com

During the winter, this chair lift provides a ride up to the top of McCauley Mountain where you can choose from seven runs of moderate difficulty to get back to the bottom.

In the summer, however, the ride to the top provides some excellent views of the Fulton Chain of Lakes, downtown Old Forge and the central Adirondack Mountains. There is a small platform a short distance away from the unloading area that contains a coin-operated binocular. Also nearby is the start of a hiking trail down the other side of the mountain.
