How did this boat get here? Its a mystery to all... Did it break free from a far away dock and float here and then get stuck in the mud flats? Was it purposely landed here? Was it a lifeboat from a ship that was fleeing tragedy? The answers are limited only to your imagination. What we do know for sure is that it has the Number 3 in two different places, suggesting that there was at least a #1 and #2 before it.

I highly suggest you access this wreck at low tide. The lower the better. You have to cross a slough and numerous little water channels. I have heard that you can get out there during higher tides, but be prepared for extreme mud. You can get right on top of the boat, it is located on public property along the English Boom beach.
