Engraved with an eagle and a shield, the inscription on the memorial reads:
"In memory of the sons and daughters of this community who served in the armed forces of our country to preserve our heritage, our freedom and our way of life during World War II and Korean War, Vietnam."
Lower inscriptions read: "American Legion 1010-1041, Catholic War Veterans Post 868, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2430, Army-Navy Union Garrison 14."
