I traveled through Sprague, Washington during the Missoula Ice Age Flood trip in August 2007 with an Elderhostel group. We visited Mary Queen of Heaven Roman Catholic Church located at N. First and B St., Sprague. In 1883, Mary Queen of Heaven Parish was established and a church was erected on this site. In 1902, the present church was erected and blessed by the Bishop of Nesqually. The church is Gothic Revival architectural style. The architects, builders, or engineers were P. L. Peterson and Herman Preusse. The church has three chimneys on one side and two chimneys on the other side. Spokane Diocese (Sprague, Lincoln County), Sprague, Washington; Phone: (509) 659-0437. The pastor is located at St. Agnes Parish, Ritzville, Adams County, Washington.
