Artist Statement: My primary interest is the natural world: how it came to be, how it has changed and what its future might be. This title relates to a number of things. I like the reference to Noah's Ark during the Biblical flood. However, my reference for the ark is the Earth, with its billions of years of evolution and cycles of sedimentation and erosion.
