First built in 1856 near the historic Ohio&Erie canal, the Canal Fulton UMC has been expanded with 2 additions, but the original structure still serves as the sanctuary. In addition to Sunday services and Sunday School, the church hosts several community functions including a preschool; meeting site for boy scouts and girl scouts; the home to a community theater group (the Canal Fulton Players) and an annual health fair.
