The former headquarters for the Lustron Homes Corporation is currently being used as a warehouse and main shipping hub for DSW (Designer Shoe Warehouse). So if you've ever purchased a pair of shoes from DSW, it's possible they once sat in the former Lustron Homes factory. The facility is located at 4200 E 5th St in Columbus, Ohio, near the Port Columbus International Airport.
From looking at the pictures provided in the brochure, it doesn't look like much has changed. All of the existing portions of the building are there, but there has been a small addition to the front of the building. The only other change is that it says DSW on it now. Seeing it in person really shows the scale of the operation. Assuming the Luston Corp used the entire facility, it was a much larger operation than I expected. Especially for the times!
