A neat trail (Day Use Only) with many scenic overlooks. National River Property...bring a camera...beware of cliffs...and be sure to park out of the roadway to avoid angering the locals. Parking Coords / trailhead are the ones given above.

Coords are for parking.
When you see a path cut off to the right, check it out. Most of them are neat overlooks of the river. The last two (as the trail diverges from the powerline area), are the best. I didn't make waypoints at all of them, but I got the coords (ish) for the first & last & a big one in the middle...there's at least 2 more overlooks, just follow the paths. The pics are awesome when the river's not too hazy.
Watch your footing, not your GPS. DON'T walk off a cliff if my coords are 20' too far to the river. The cliffs here REALLY are cliffs...you can just walk right off of them & at least one is a 300' drop (I've rappelled down it). Also a good place for rattlesnakes and copperheads, so again...watch where you're walking.
Not a real long hike...length depends on your wanderings from the main path. I think the path also connects to the NRG (New River Gorge) Trail system below at Nutall, but not sure exactly how.
