The town of Penfield has in recent years joined together the trails in Linear park with a newer section of trails behind Panaroma plaza. They have built this very heavy duty looking bridge to cross what is essentially a tiny water run off from nearby Home Depot.
This path follows the Irondequoit creek for about 3-4 miles, starting in a more urban setting, and going through two different town's parts. The path varies from a paved path, to hard packed dirt, to a very rough terrain where the trail hasn't been improved yet.
The bridge does not cross the creek to the nearby auto dealership, but follows the creek to nearby Linear Park before heading onward to Spring Lake Park.
There's also a geocache at this location. See Bridge
