Brownies Diner - Wayne, MI - Googie Architecture on Waymarking.com

We found this diner on Route 12. It didn't look like much, but after our experiences along Route 66, we figured "What the hell, let's give it a shot." Turns out the food was damned good.

Brownies has been around for a mighty long time. Long enough in fact to have undergone at least three major renovations, at least according to the pictures up on the walls and some of the people we met while we ate. The latest interior refurbishing was done with lots of 1950's style lighting.
