At this viewing area you can see Mt. Rainier and a great view of Emmons Glacier. There is a set of binoculars there for close up views of the glacier.
This is a different viewing area than the Emmons Vista overlook accessed from the parking lot. To reach the vista, walk to the front entrance to the Visitor Center. Instead of entering, take a left and walk between the buildings to the viewing area.
