Cave-Penney Cross was erected after the First World War in memory of Lieut. Evelyn Cave-Penney who died in action at the age of 19. The cross is 4 feet 3 inches tall and 1 foot 10 inches across the arms, and is set into a large boulder.
The cross stands on open moorland on a hill overlooking the Dart Valley on Dartmoor.
