“Phoenix Rising from the Ashes,” is a bronze statue of a woman and a bird, which represented Atlanta’s comeback after the Civil War.

The statue was relocated to Woodruff Park as part of the $5 million dollar renovation and is the focal point of the park’s Five Points entrance.
