The beam of the lighthouse is the second highest in France at 130m. It dates from 1838 and was converted from petrol to electric in 1946. In 1977 it became automatic.
The light shows 4 times every 15 seconds and can be seen for 60km.
The coordinates are for the nearby car park, as the lighthouse itself is off-limits and not open for visitors.
