Pleasant's Open Pit Bar-B-Q is a very friendly, small, deep south restaurant. Your mouth will water as soon as you open the front door! The meat is hickory smoked and yummy!
They serve beef, pork, grilled chicken or sausage sandwiches for $3.25. Side orders of beans, potato salad, coleslaw or collard greens go for $1.95 for a 1/2 pint. A rib dinner goes for $7.50, or if you want a slab of ribs, they go for 16.50.
They are open Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00-7:30. They also deliver in the general area.
