The Allegheny River travels far and long to join with other rivers along the way. The Monongahela, the Ohio and the Mississippi, before finding the Gulf of Mexico. The coords listed are for the sign, which overlooks the stream.
We were here on 7/28/07 as there is a wonderful new EarthCache nearby called Three Rivers Rise....GC10Y25. The Allegheny being one of the three.
