Collection
We have a large collection at the Dupont Branch, but if we do not have the title you need, we will gladly borrow it from another ACPL location. If ACPL does not own the item, we might be able to borrow it from a library outside the county ("interlibrary loan"). There is usually no charge for this service.

Computers
The Dupont Branch Library has 21 (twenty-one) IBM-compatible computers with Internet access and Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, etc.). Five of the computers are reserved for kids age 12 and under, and one is reserved for teens.
The library also has four Macintosh computers in the children’s area. These have educational and word processing software.
WiFi (wireless Internet access) is also available.

Copy Machines
We have two copy machines. Copies are ten cents each.

Meeting Rooms
The Dupont Branch Library offers use of its meeting rooms to not-for-profit groups in accordance with the Library's Meeting Room Policy. There is no charge. Call 421-1315 for more information.

Equipment
Available for in-house use only are a TV, VCR, DVD player and overhead projector.

Classics Book Group
Our Classics Book Group meets once a month to discuss great books. Join us on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. To sign up, call 421-1315.

Teen Corner
We have a special section for teens at the Dupont Branch Library. This section has books, magazines, videos, and audiobooks, as well as a "teen only" computer with Internet access and Microsoft applications.

Children’s Room
We have a special room for kids at the Dupont Branch Library. This room has books, magazines, videos, software, music, and audiobooks, as well as five "kids only" computers with Internet access and Microsoft applications. We also have four Macintosh computers with educational and word processing software.

Special Tours and Storytimes
Dupont staff members will provide tours or storytimes for groups of children. Call 421-1315 to make an appointment.

School Visits
Dupont staff members will visit schools or daycare centers to provide storytimes or booktalks. (Booktalks are for middle and high school students, too!)
