Frank Lloyd Wright regularly used stained glass in the windows of the residential homes he designed. His designs were always geometric in shape, typically using squares and rectangles, but at times incorporating circles and triangles.
In the Arthur Heurtley Home, one of Wright's prairie style houses, he uses a band of stained glass framed in dark wood to create a long horizontal band that echos the roof line and also the horizontal void below where the entrance is located.
The structure is privately owned and in a residential neighborhood, so please do any viewing of the windows from the sidewalk.
