Dr. W. C. Wightman, a Wayne physician and doctor for the Union Pacific Railroad Company built this Shingle style house in 1900. In 1912 the house was sold to Rollie W. Ley, who served as clerk and later president of the Wayne State National Bank. It now serves as the Wayne county Historical Museum.
