The Salem Presbyterian Church was established at the start of the Civil War and has been in constant service to the community ever since. The Church Cemetery is the final rest place for a number of Civil War Veterans as well as veterans of World War I, World War II, Korea and Vietnam. The Salem Presbyterian Church is home to an active congregation, who still holds services each Sunday Morning.
