Monument is located in the village of Cataumet, Town of Bourne. On the Northwest side of Old County Road, about 185 FT Northeast of the Cataumet M. E. Church. 0.55 M towards the road from the stone wall in front of the cemetery, 7.5 M from the edge of pavement of Old County Road, 15.3 M from the center of the North driveway gate to the cemetery, 16.7 M from the pedestrian gate to the cemetery. The mark is an 8"x8" granite monument projecting 3 inches from the ground. A cross is cut in the center of the top. One of the characters C. and G.S. is cut in each corner of the top, and the date 1896 is cut on the side.
