Although this seems a strange topic for a museum to focus on, this place is a must stop, whether you find Spam edible or not. We personally can't stand Spam, but decided to stop in for a laugh. It was free so what could we lose other than a few minutes?
Boy were we surprised! We spent over an hour is this professionally done, modern, interactive museum. Along with great informative history, the museum has interactive displays for kids, such as a spam packing race, a trivia arena set up like a game show stage, a spam movie and more. Learn about how Spam was used in WWII, how the Hormel company grew, and more.
I'm nearly a vegetarian, and this was one of my favorite stops on our road trip. I hope you'll believe me and visit this wonderland of Spam for yourself!
