This is a bronze statue of David Lloyd George (1863-1945), he represented Caernarfon Boroughs as a Liberal MP for 55 years from 1890-1945.

Also Constable of Caernarfon Castle. He was Chancellor of the Exchequer 1908-15 and Prime Minister 1916-22. This statue is situated in Castle Square (Y Maes), next to the castle and was unveiled in 1921.
