We checked out this place after booking a room at the Blue Swallow.
The folks running the Americana were extremely accomodating. They let us look at one of the rooms and everything. If we could, we would have stayed there for a second night in Tucumcari, but it was time for us to head back east. One thing we learned on the trip was the places that aren't being featured in the abundance of media on Route 66 are working hard to be places worth checking out.
