Michigan has the largest percentage of the North Country Trail of any of the seven states, and the most certified miles. This section of the NCT begins at the trailhead on Augusta Drive and continues north through the Kellogg Experimental Forest and then through the Michigan State University Biological Station. Points of interest along the way include the W.K.Kellogg Bird Sancuary, W.K. Kellogg Dairy Farm and W.K. Kellogg Manor.
