Beatrix Potter tearfully leaves Norman Warne on the station, and heads north by steam train, which crosses Arten Gill viaduct on the way to the Lake District. In reality, she would have left a London station and arrived at Oxenholme or Penrith station to change for Windermere or Keswick. Neither of which route would cross Arten Gill in a southerly direction. The scene was created with CGI.
Arten Gill is a past industrial site of mines, with modern interpretive boards. Park 50 metres west.
The scene is in the trailer and in the film.
