The block surrounding the Water Street Seafood Co. Restaurant has been developed into the Water Street Market. A handful of independent shops, the Texas Surf Museum, and bars surround a courtyard and walkways filled with abstract pieces, a fountain and the South Texas Music Walk of Fame.
