Oddly, there seems to be no date of death on this headstone.

Morris Bebb
born at Beuford Monmouth
Shire South Wales
April 5, 1827.
Served in the
War 61-65 in the
U.S. Navy on
board ship
Pocahontas.

Since Morris Bebb was born in Wales in 1827, it seems unlikely that he is a direct close relative of William Bebb who was Ohio's 19th governor (1846-1849) whose father, Edward, immigrated from Wales in 1795. More information can be found in this interesting article about Governor William Webb

The USS Pocahontas, the first of several navy ships of that name, was commissioned in 1860 and was engaged in a number of significant Civil War campaigns including an initial run to Fort Sumter, then the bombardment of Port Royal, SC, in 1961 and many miles of patrol, transport and blockade duty. She had a crew of 95. She was deccomissioned shortly after the end of the war. Further details about her caree can be found in the Wikipedia entry USS Pocahontas 1852.
