This is the lower entrance to the mine. There is a higher one, but there is less to see at that entrance. The parking and trailhead are waymarked here. You will have to hike about 2.5 miles roundtrip and will gain 600 feet in elevation. There is a terrific article detailing exploration of this mine that can be found here. This mine is abandoned and old, so exploring it should be considered dangerous. Enter at your own risk.
