Pastor Mark Garner told me that the membership is about 750, with regular attendence in the 400's. This is a very active church. At the time of my visit, they were preparing for Vacation Bible School.
The posted coordinates are for a Coast and Geodetic Survey marker, which is in an asphalt parking lot. There is a second disk 77.8 feet to the northwest. If you see either or both of these, you can photograph the disk(s) and enter them at geocaching.com/mark. The identification number of the main disk is EZ5328. The reference mark disk is AJ6909.
The church is at the intersection of Baptist Grove Road (SR1427) and Christian Light Road (SR1412). It is 3.5 miles south of Highway NC42, and about three miles west of US-401.
