Originally named Municipal Stadium when built in 1982, but was renamed Midway Stadium when Mike Veeck and Bill Murray bought, revived and moved the Saints to this location in 1993.
Mike Veeck has proudly declared that Midway Stadium is "The ugliest ballpark in America!"
But that should not keep you from visiting this spot, cause the Saints slogan is "Fun Is Good." There are always lots of crazy promotions, traditions and antics to be enjoyed at a Saints game.
The St. Paul Saints are part of the American Association.
