Jasper Ware, a Nebraska City banker, built his 10 room Gothic Revival Victorian house in woods outside town, earning it the name Wildwood Farm. The house is now on the edge of Steinhart Park and is preserved as a museum. Many of the articles in the house belonged to the Ware family. Others are representative of the the mid Victorian era.

The original brick barn behind the house operates as an art and crafts gallery.
