The memorial is located just next to the intersection of South Street and Main Street in Lavelle, PA, at an elevation of 974, in the Blue Ridge Mountains of PA. It is located on Main Street and not South Street. It is between 4th and 5th streets, which are across the street from the memorial.

Description of Memorial:
The surrounding area looks very much the same as it did 20 years ago. It is a small, charming town set high above the rest of the state amid the Blue Ridge Mountains. The roads are very hilly and curvy with speed limits always at or below 25 mph so drive slowly!
