Siegel Hall was designed in 1945 and constructed 1956-57. The building features steel, brick and glass curtain walls, resulting all-glass bays, glass and brick bays, and all-brick bays. The building is named for David T. Siegel, 1925 graduate of Lewis Institute and IIT trustee from 1943 until his death in 1957. Siegel Hall houses the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, the Department of Humanities and the Social Sciences Department.
