This waterfall is viewed from the opposite bank of Deep Creek. A bench is provided for sitting and watching the water splash down the rocks. In summer, you will see folks drifting by in tubes. In winter, you can see more of the falls because there is less vegetation.

To reach from Bryson City, go north on Everette Street. Cross the railroad tracks and go another 100 yards. Watch for a "Y" to the right. This is Toot Hollow Road, and a reliable marker is the small directional sign for the Folkestone Inn.

Follow Toot Hollow Road for about 2 miles. Turn left onto West Deep Creek Road, which leads into the park. At a barricade gate, turn left into the parking lot. Continue on foot along the creek on a well-graded roadway. The falls will be 0.25 mile on your right.

There is another nice waterfall nearby. From Toms Branch Falls, continue another 0.6 mile along the stream, with gradual elevation changes of 100 feet, to Indian Creek Trail. Turn right and go a few hundred feet. A side trail to the left takes you to the base.
