Not an official museum this hidden treasuer was built by Arnold Jorgenson from 1949 to 1970. It is a collection of vintage metal tools, Civil War cannons, old caldrons, large bells and other misc iron items. Items covering logging, farming, shipping, mining and railroading are represented.
Dan Martin, who serves as the garden's caretaker is a very friendly fellow who loves to give tours and share information.
If you are into historical iron pieces of history this is a must see place.. Not to mention that Idyllwild is a beautiful place to visit.
