A WPA mural created in 1939 by Peggy Strong. This mural, original to the building, depicts the history of postal service in the region. It belongs to the people of the USA, and is catalogued by the Smithsonian.

Originally the Wenatchee Post Office and Annex, the Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center offers many interesting exibits. This mural was painted on the wall of the post office in 1939 as a WPA project and is still in very good condition. It is a large mural covering a whole wall. It is visible now in the gift shop in the museum. The building and annex are on the National Register of Historical places.
