There's a lot to see at the Henry Ford Museum, we'll have to go again. This sign really caught my attention. It's from the Douglas Auto Theater, it was the second Drive-In to open in Kalamazoo, MI. on Douglas Ave.
The drive-in is gone now, but the Henry Ford got the sign and restored it to its former glory. The sign is trimmed in bright neon and incandescent lights and depicts a large late 1950's automobile which turns into a Model-T. That is so cool!
Douglas is Irish Gaelic and translates roughly to "dark waters".
Unfortunately, "O'l Harv" here aint as young as he used to be, otherwise, I'd have climbed up to be in the shots.
