While on our tour down Rt. 66 and getting the other neon lights in the area I decided to add this one to the Mother Road.
It is one of the Historic one's that are listed but is not a neon sign.
I will also be adding the neons along Rt 66 soon.
I always liked this one Because of the Camel.
Kinda funny what you remember from childhood.
I also had a girlfriend who worked here in Tucumacari on a youth project for a while and I remember driving up here from Deming in My Lincoln.
Ahhh!! the memories of former years and also a few of the tears.
But still travelin after all these years.
Another stop along Historic Rt. 66 in Tucumcari New Mexico.
