wonderful artistry went into this mosaic that celebrates neighborhood history & diversity. part of a renaissance of this portion of east 11th street, in a formerly run-down area close to downtown. musical heritage is pictured on the front side. the back features a 3-D metal trolley and numerous painted inserts. unfortunately a few of the decorative pieces are missing, whether due to weathering or vandalism I can't say. there are park benches for ectended viewing, and a sidewalk cafe across the street. there is also a geocache on this site.
