If you're looking for some good food and good beer after a day of hitting the waterslides, you can't go wrong with the Moosejaw Pizza and Brewing Company on the Wisconsin Dells Parkway, just north of the Wilderness Resort. Our group of thirteen showed up around 4:00 on a Saturday afternoon and we were seated right away.
They had ten beers on tap, of which I had "Ten Pointer" sampler of each. The available beers ran the gauntlet of styles, although surprisingly, they did not have a stout available. They made up for it by having a tasty Belgian Double on tap as well as a very good IPA.
The food was good as well. I had the mushroom swiss burger, although I had mine done with elk instead of beef. Mrs Cheesehead had the pulled pork sandwich. Both came with homemade potato chips that were fantastic.
The Moosejaw is easy to find, and with three levels of seating, you may not have to wait long for a table. I would easily come back here on my next trip to the Dells.
