Located in the Oldest town in Jasper County Missouri.

Sarcoxie was one of the Main places the Strawberry pickers from all over the area gathered to sell,pick,barter and or trade their Strawberries that were shipped by Railroad all over the Nation from the late 1800'S to the Early 1930's.

The Strawberry pickers were not paid with money instead the received Strawberry Tokens that they then cashed in for Money at Sarcoxie Bank and others. The tokens were 1 Crate,4 Quarts,2 quarts,1 quart and some others.

One of the Oldest benchmarks in the area was on the step of the door to that Bank.
